Lake Hemet Fishing Trip (2022)

Description

Join us for our Lake Hemet Fishing Trip on October 14^th-16^th.  The beautiful Lake Hemet Campground is located at 56570 State Highway 74, Mountain Center, CA and we are in Group Campsite B.  Note that the gates close at 8 pm and we have to have our campsite set up by 10 pm. Those age 16 or over that will be fishing will need a fishing license, which can be purchased online (wildlife.ca.gov) or at the Lake Hemet Campground Store ($16.46 for 1-day and $25.66 for a 2-day license).  Please bring your fishing poles and tackle.  Note that the only live bait permitted are nightcrawlers and red worms (both of which can be purchased at the Lake Hemet Market).  Mr. Ramirez will be leading the Fishing Merit Badge class on Saturday morning.  We will also be renting a couple of kayaks (note that any boats that you bring will need to be inspected and pay the launch fee, and no inflatables are permitted).  The trip is $36 per participant. We recommend people carpool as parking is limited.
