Hey Scouts!
Trevor Ward here. This coming weekend I am having an Eagle Project at the Arboretum. The objective of the project is to refinish and sand the memorial benches at the said location. I would like to remind all that this is a great opportunity for service hours that are required for rank advancement. And yes, there will be Chipotle, see below and RSVP with your order!
Simply stated:
Location: 301 N. Baldwin Avenue, Arcadia, CA 91007 (The Arboretum)
Time: 9am to 5pm, Saturday, June 10th. Come for as many or as few hours as you can.
Materials: Clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty. Gloves, closed-toed shoes, hats, sunscreen, vibrating electrical sander if you have one. No belt sanders.
Goal: The goal is to refinish 5 – 15 benches to restore their quality.
Provided: Chipotle burritos and cold drinks.
RSVP: Please let me know if you can attend, when, and what you would like for lunch (it will be delivered around noon). If you don’t tell me, you get a chicken burrito (simple, classic, delicious).
