Independence Day Parade
Ever want to be in a parade? Well, now is your chance. Troop 355 has the honor of participating in the San Marino Independence Day Parade. Attached is the information flyer. We meet at the Valero Gas Station on the corner of Huntington, Monterey and Sierra Madre. Please arrive by 4:30 PM. Wear Class A uniform without sash. We will finish the Parade by about 5:30 PM and meet parents at the flag pole. Scouts will receive credit for two service hours. Parent and friends will take lots of photos.
This year, wrist bands are required for all entrants to the celebration at Lacy Park. The City of San Marino has graciously provided Troop 355 with free wrist bands for Scouts selling glow necklaces or appearing in the Parade. One adult escort per Scout will receive a free wrist band also.
