Kart Racing School Campout –

Trip Highlights
We are camping at Adams Motorsports Park in Riverside. On Friday night, we will watch drifting competitions and tour the pits. On Saturday, we attend kart racing school and tour an off-road racing truck fabrication facility.
Cost
Racing School and Camping = $80 (includes morning snack, lunch & racing school for Scouts)
Camping only = $10 (includes morning snack and lunch, this option is for Dads)
Sign-up Process
Money talks; e-mail walks (and don’t even think about texting)…..
The first 60 checks received by Mr. Wong win the Racing School registration!
Other checks will be held on a wait list
Priority will be given to Scouts, if the Scouts do not take all 60 slots, Dads can register.
Racing School registration is open to campers only. No arrive and drive. You have to camp.

5:00 PM Arrive and set-up camp

6:00 PM Prepare dinner when your Patrol wishes
7:00 PM Welcome by AMP staff
7:00 PM Pit tours begin
9:00 PM Pit tours end
10:00 PM Drift competition ends
10:30 PM Lights out
Saturday, November 19:
6:30 AM Wake-up and prepare breakfast by Patrol
7:45 AM Sign waivers, if you have not done this at the October 24 Troop meeting
8:00 AM Group A racing school begins
8:00 AM Group B departs for Stronghold Motorsports
11:30 AM Group B returns to AMP
Noon Lunch provided by AMP staff
1:00 PM Group B racing school begins
1:00 PM Group A departs for Stronghold Motorsports
4:00 PM Group A returns to AMP
4:45 PM Awards
5:00 PM Break camp and depart

Packing and Camping Info
You MUST wear closed toe shoes and long pants to race. No exceptions! If you show up without the proper clothing, you will lose your spot in the racing school AND lose your payment.
This will be car camping
Be Prepared: pack warm clothes and rain gear
No need for a map and compass this trip
You will need gear to prepare Friday night dinner and Saturday breakfast
Drinking water and bathrooms are available
