Jalama Beach Campout – Click for Details

Troop 355 is returning to Jalama Beach! Back by popular demand, this trip will take us north and west to Jalama Beach for a classic Troop 355 beach campout. This year we have the campsites reserved for both Friday and Saturday nights, so campers will have the option of coming Friday afternoon or Saturday morning.
This trip will be a bit more flexible than many of our other trips. Scouts will have the opportunity to get advancement signoffs, but will also have plenty of time to swim or play on the beach. We will cook for dinner and breakfast. Patrols will have the option of cooking lunch together or eating at the camp store.
Bring: Swim suits, beach towels, wetsuits, footballs, basketballs, volleyballs, Scout Handbook, a little money to waste at the camp store (the Jalama Burger is great!), and firewood! Check the car camping gear list. It will be cold at night so be sure to bring your cold weather clothes.

Exit HWY 1/Lompoc and Vandenberg AFB (PCH) NORTH
Travel approximately 15 miles to Jalama Road.
Take Jalama Road Exit, turn left, carefully drive the winding 14 mile road to the Jalama Beach Campground.
