Hunter Kral’s Eagle Scout Project – Click for Details

My name is Hunter Kral. I am currently a junior at San Marino High School. My Eagle project will be on February 22rd and 23rd, between the hours of 8am to 3pm. For my project we will be installing irrigation, sprinklers, plants and flowers outside the maternity ward at Huntington Hospital, all of the materials will be supplied. You may want to bring old clothes and gloves as there will be lot’s of digging involved.

I chose this project because many of us were lucky enough to be born at this hospital. Right now outside the neo-natal unit there are four planter boxes that are just dirt and the blinds inside these rooms are shut. Many parents are there for several months waiting for their children’s health to improve so they can be released from the hospital. This project will allow them to have a view of plants and flowers and hopefully bring a smile to many faces over the years.

Your support of my project would be greatly appreciated. Food and beverages will be supplied. As we get closer I will provide a map of our location and where to park. Parking validations will be provided by the hospital. If you are able to help me please let me know so that I can get a proper headcount. I will also need to know if you are driving so I can get enough validations.
