Hike to Orchard Camp, Mt Wilson Trail, Click for Details

This Sunday morning Dave Link and I will accompany the troop as we hike the Mt. Wilson Trail to Orchard Camp, a resort ruins halfway up to the Mt. Wilson summit.
Trailhead: 89 E Miramonte Ave., Sierra Madre (crosstreet N Baldwin)
Distance: 7 miles
Start Time: 8:00 a.m. SHARP!
Finish: Approx. 12:30 p.m.
Bring 2 liters of water and high carbohydrate snacks consisting of 700-800 calories.
This hike will meet the 5 mile mile hike requirement for second class and the conditioning hike requirement for Hiking Merit Badge. All scouts and adults participating in Philmont should attend.
