For those of you seeking the Cycling Merit Badge, I have arranged a
bicycle mechanic clinic at Pasadena Cyclery (1670 E. Walnut, Pasadena,
CA) on Tuesday, November 2 at 7:00 pm. It will last about an hour to
an hour and a half. Your will learn how to properly adjust and
lubricate your bike, fix flat tires, and do basic routine
maintenance. This is a requirement for the badge so I expect all
candidates to attend. While the shop will be closed to the public, it
will be open for us if you need to purchase any last minute supplies
for the Solvang ride. The owner is a Scoutmaster for another troop so
he gives all boy scouts discounts on their purchases.
