Troop 355- Zipline and Santa Margarita Lake Recreation Area Car Camping

Dates: Friday, March 7 (check in after 3pm) to Sunday, March 9 (Checkout by 11pm)

Location: Santa Margarita Lake Recreation Area

Campsite: Heron Group campsite (listed under Troop 355)

Zipline: Saturday, March 8^th (9:30am-12:30pm) at Margarita Adventures.

Cost: $145 per person. Camping only $35 

Camping style: Car camping

Skill level: All

Activities: Fishing, zipline, camping, campfire, cooking, hiking. 

Description

Please join us for adventures at Santa Margarita Lake and Recreation Area in San Luis Obispo County as we camp at their only group campsite, Heron.  

We will be ziplining on a guided zipline tour at Margarita Adventures Saturday morning.

REQUIRED: A waiver needs to be completed for ziplining.  Fishing- CA state fishing license if 16 years and older.

Zipline physical requirements: Weight: >30 lbs and less than 275 lbs.  Height: >3’0” and less than 6’8” .

Sign up deadline, Monday March 3^rd. 

If you plan to send your scout alone- please arrange transportation prior to registering. Arranging transportation is the responsibility of the scout’s parent.
