San Marino Independence Day Parade – Click for Details and Note the Time Change

Ever wanted to march in a parade? This is your chance. Troop 355 has been asked to provide scouts to carry the banners in the San Marino Independence Day Parade. We will meet at the Cheveron Gas Station at the corner of Huntington Drive and Monterey Road at 3:00 p.m. on July 4. Wear your Class A uniform without sash. The parade will end by about 5:00 p.m. If your family will not be attending the July 4 celebration at Lacy Park, you can meet your parents after the parade at the Virginia Road entrance to Lacy Park. If your parents will be in Lacy Park, you can meet them at the flag poles on the east side of the park. If you will be participating in our Salesmanship Merit Badge sales event, stick around after the parade – we will start selling the glow necklaces at the flag poles at 5:30. Two hours of community service will be given for participating in the parade.
