New Parent Orientation Meeting – Click for Details

We would like at least one parent of each new scout to attend our New Parent Orientation Meeting. This is your chance to learn all you need to know about starting up with Troop 355 – we will discuss scout advancement, merit badges, leadership, troop policies, uniforms, campouts, the Kern River Trip and more. We will be happy to answer all of your questions about Troop 355. We will also be handing out our blue notebooks that your scouts will use to track all their merit badges and advancements.

We have timed this event to coincide with the Swimming Merit Badge class. We will gather at the pool deck when you drop off your scouts for the Swimming Merit Badge, then go to the picnic tables adjacent to the pool to begin our meeting. We will finish up in time for you to watch your scouts complete their first merit badge.
