To all Troop 355 Scouts:
This coming Friday I will be working on my Eagle Service Project at Descanso Gardens in LaCanada and I’m asking for your help. The project consists of two steps, first we will be removing the ivy that has grown around a stream in the gardens. Next, we will place a layer of wood chips to preserve the work we have done. My goal is to get between ten to fifteen guys to help with the project. With that number we will certainly finish in one day.
When:
Friday, July 29th. Please arrive between 7:45 to 8:00 AM. We will break for lunch at noon and continue working until about four.
Where:
Descanso Gardens
1418 Descanso Drive
La Cañada Flintridge, CA 91011
Signs will be posted to help direct you to the project location within the gardens.

Details:
-Pizza lunch, drinks, and water will be provided by my family.
-If you have work/gardening gloves, please bring them. We will bring some extras, but not enough for everyone if only a few people bring them.
-This is a great opportunity to get service hours for rank advancement and I am very willing to sign whatever paperwork is needed to confirm the service hours.
